Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB)

Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs) are the work‑horses that protect medium‑ to high‑power circuits from overloads and short‑circuits. Our Schneider ComPact and GoPact ranges cover 16 A to 630 A with breaking capacities up to 70 kA, giving South‑African installers the head‑room demanded by SANS 10142 and IEC 60947‑2.

Whether you’re upgrading a panel in a manufacturing plant or speccing a new commercial DB, you can choose between thermal‑magnetic or electronic trip units, fixed or adjustable settings, and 1‑ to 4‑pole formats. Every MCCB on this page carries Schneider’s proven track record for reliability, plus digital features such as DIN‑rail energy metering on selected ComPact NSX models.

Need help sizing the breaker? Check the kA rating against your prospective fault level, match the trip curve to motor‑start currents, and allow at least 20 % head‑room on continuous load. Scroll down to shop the full Schneider MCCB line‑up.
